Date Sold 1/12/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 5 Original Vintage Theatrical Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Dutch Movie Stills (Learn More) Love Streams, the 1984 John Cassavetes mental illness emotional breakdown relationship melodrama (based on the play by Ted Allan) starring Gena Rowlands, John Cassavetes, Diahnne Abbott, Seymour Cassel, and Margaret Abbott. Note that this movie was first released in Germany in February of 1984 so that it could win a prize at the Berlin Festival there, and then it was released in Italy a month later, and it was not released in the U.S. until August. But what is exceptionally odd is that the only posters we have ever seen in the English language are ones that appear to be Canadian (they lack ratings, and they measure 27" x 40" at a time when U.S. one-sheets measured 27" x 41"). Yet there are no "other" one-sheets that appear to be U.S.! So where are the posters from the 1984 U.S. release? If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Sometimes, studios would run out of stills and have extras printed on Kodak stock or perhaps only Kodak stills were distributed to some foreign exchanges. Condition: good to very good.
