An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More)

The Guardsman, the 1931 Sidney Franklin stage acting marriage comedy (based on the play by Ferenc Molnar) starring Alfred Lunt (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Lynn Fontanne (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Roland Young, Zasu Pitts, Maude Eburne, and Herman Bing. Note that Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne were married in real life!

Important Added Info: Note that there is a printed snipe on the back of the still, describing the scene on the front (the Lunts had just arrived in Hollywood to start filming "The Guardsman", and they are meeting with the producer, the director, and the screenwriter).
