An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Radio Still (Learn More) Lauren Bacall (born Betty Joan Perske) was a legendary actress and model from the 1940s to the 2010s. She was nicknamed "The Look" and married Humphrey Bogart after they starred in their first movie, To Have and Have Not, together. Bogart was decades older than she was, but their marriage lasted until he passed away in 1957, and they had two children together. Their movies together were: The Big Sleep, To Have and Have Not, Key Largo, and Dark Passage, and she made other movie appearances as well, including: The Mirror Has Two Faces (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Howl's Moving Castle (as the Witch of the Waste), and The Forger. She passed away in 2014 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that this radio still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: fair to good. Sadly, this incredible portrait has brown stains scattered throughout, including in Bacall's face and dress. I am sure a talented restorer could remove some or all of the staining through chemical means, but there is no guarantee whether additional paint restoration would be required, so please do not bid on this great still unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored, and can live with the uncertainty as to how difficult that will be.
