Ladri di Biciclette (released in the U.S. in 1949 as "The Bicycle Thief" and in England as "Bicycle Thieves"), the classic 1948 Vittorio De Sica Italian neorealist melodrama ("Academy Award outstanding foreign language film 1949"; about a man and his son who search for a vital missing bicycle; most people rightfully consider this one of the handful of absolute finest movies ever made!) starring Lamberto Maggiorani, Enzo Staiola, Lianella Carell, Gino Saltamerenda, and Vittorio Antonucci. Note that the Italian title literally translates to "The Bicycle Thieves", but for unknown reasons, the movie became "The Bicycle Thief" when it was released in English-speaking countries!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has the small numbers "54/116" in the right of the bottom border. This LOOKS like an NSS number, but of course, Argentina didn't use NSS numbers, and we think that it is just a coincidence. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. There is a 4" tear in the right of the top edge and a similar tear in the lower right edge of the poster. The borders of the poster were folded back at one time and there are several pin holes around the edges. The poster was lightly folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical crease at left and right and there is minor separation at each crossfold. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
