Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B Half-Sheet (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) George Bernard Shaw's The Devil's Disciple, the 1959 Guy Hamilton English/U.S. Revolutionary War adventure comedy ("One Devil of a Motion Picture!"; "Based on the play by Bernard Shaw By Arrangement with the Estate of Gabriel Pascal") starring Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Laurence Olivier, Janette Scott, Eva LeGallienne, Harry Andrews, Basil Sydney, George Rose, Neil McCallum, Mervyn Johns, and David Horne. Note that Janette Scott is best remembered for her starring role in "Day of the Triffids" in 1963, which was immortalized in the lyrics of the song from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" that says "And I really got hot When I saw Janette Scott fight a triffid that spits poison and kills." She divorced her first husband and married Mel Torme in 1966, which pretty much ended her career, as she quickly had two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
