'The Prince and the Showgirl'"; "Some countries have a medal for Everything"; "A Film by Marilyn Monroe Pictures Inc."; "Screen Play by Terence Rattigan"; about a showgirl in a mythical European country, who causes scandal when a prince tries to seduce her) starring Marilyn Monroe (in the title role as Elsie), Laurence Olivier (in the title role as the Prince Regent), Sybil Thorndike, Richard Wattis, David Horne, Jeremy Spenser, Jean Kent, Vera Day, and Margot Lister NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there are many people (myself included!) who consider card #8 to have the best single image of Marilyn Monroe (I guess a close competitor would be the skirt-blowing image of Marilyn from "The Seven Year Itch"!). Condition: very good. Card #8 has some light rippling along the upper edge, with slight discoloration in portions of the upper and side edges. It has very slightly faded and has some scuff marks in Monroe's chest at center (see our image). However, the other six cards in this group are in fantastic condition and they have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind! We are calling this group "very good" due to the great condition of six of these cards, but please bear in mind our above condition description regarding card #8 before placing a bid.
