An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Lucky Jordan, the 1943 Frank Tuttle World War II (WWII) gambling romantic crime film noir (about a gambler and petty crook who tries to dodge the draft, but he is unable to, and he deserts, kidnapping a WAC, but then he finds his former buddies selling secrets to the enemy, and everything works out in the end!) starring Alan Ladd (in the title role as Lucky Jordan), Helen Walker, Mabel Paige, Sheldon Leonard, Marie McDonald, and Dorothy Dandridge NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and black tape, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the black tape or the edges of the slide well. Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides.
