Secret Service in Darkest Africa, the 1943 Spencer Gordon Bennet World War II (WWII) crime action Nazi spy espionage serial ("A Republic Serial in 15 Chapters"; about an American Secret Service agent sent to Africa in World War II, where Nazis and evil Arabs have joined together to help each other conquer the world) starring Rod Cameron, Joan Marsh, Duncan Renaldo, Lionel Royce, Kurt Kreuger, and Frederic Brunn. Note that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas' "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was directly inspired by the first chapter of this serial!

Condition: good to very good. Obviously the person who consigned us this complete set started with an incomplete set and then completed it over the years, because they are in very different conditions. Five of the cards are in generally really nice unrestored condition. The title card had its blank borders trimmed off and also had some smudges and stains in the image and a foreign stamp in the top right corner. The card with the woman smiling at the two men has pinholes and stains around the edges with a foreign stamp at upper right. The card with the Arab men and the Nazi carrying a man underground was like the title card and had the borders trimmed off and a foreign stamp in the top right corner. So we are calling this "good to very good", but you need to consider the individual conditions of the cards as explained above before bidding on this very rare set.
