Walter Ruben romantic culture clash melodrama ("From a Novel by Ainsworth Morgan"; about a simple Eskimo taken from his home by explorers because he needs an operation and once he heals, he interacts with "modern civilization", and he also falls in love the pretty daughter of one of the explorers) starring Francis Lederer ("The producers who discovered and brought Katherine Hepburn to triumphant stardom confidently offer the screen debut of a blazing new star!"), Elissa Landi, Henry Stephenson, J. Farrell MacDonald, and Walter Byron. Note that after the huge success of "Nanook of the North", Hollywood tried to make some movies about Eskimos, but in 1934, a romance between a white woman and an Eskimo was considered "interracial", so of course, it was doomed to failure. Also note that this movie was the forerunner of similar popular movies, including "Tarzan's New York Adventure" and "Crocodile Dundee", where primitive men come to a big city and show how superior their "simple values" are! Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 18" [36 x 46 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. The blank top was mostly trimmed off. There is paper loss in the top corners. There are creases and scuffs around the edges, with a small tear in the lower left border and a 1" tear in the left of the bottom border.
