Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold. It had separation and tiny tears down the top half of the vertical fold and some tears and paper loss scattered in the top horizontal fold, with creases along the bottom horizontal fold, and some paper loss in the bottom 2" of the vertical fold. It had the title of the movie written on the back of the top of the vertical fold, and it bled through to the front in the sky area at top center. The poster also had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. While the poster displays pretty well in spite of its defects, if I owned this great poster, I would surely have it removed from the linen and properly re-backed, but of course, that will be the choice of the new owner of this poster.
