An Undated (probably 1946) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Devil Bat, the 1940 Jean Yarbrough science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy crime mystery horror thriller (based on a story by George Bricker; about a mad scientist who wants revenge on his former employers who he feels cheated him, and he trains his own breed of electrically enlarged bats to hate a specific perfume, and then he gets the female members of his former employers' families to wear it, after which they are brutally killed by the bats) starring Bela Lugosi, Suzanne Kaaren, Dave O'Brien (Dave 'Tex' O'Brien), Guy Usher, Yolande Donlan, and Donald Kerr. Note that "Poverty Row" studio PDC (Producers Distributing Corporation) went bankrupt at the end of the 1930s, and was reorganized as PRC (Producers Releasing Corporation), and this movie was their very first, and it was also their biggest hit! They made a "sequel" in name only called "Devil Bat's Daughter", but it did not match the success of this movie, and in fact, they had few other successes.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: very good. There are pinholes in the corners and three pinholes near the center of the card. There are a few faint smudges and creases around the edges. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
