It was a spoof of the then popular radio quiz shows, where contestants would be asked for their knowledge of current events and trivia (later those quiz shows would become extremely popular on TV, until there were scandals that took them off the air for many years). This cartoon was advertised solely on the 1939 Color Rhapsody stock poster from Columbia, but it had a printed inset with the title of this cartoon and an image from it (see below).
