Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It also had some creases and scuffs scattered on the foldlines and some creases scattered around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but it was not glued correctly in the lower right black background area, and it is "lifting" from the linen there (any talented restorer could re-glue it without re-backing the poster. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
