An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Bombshell (also released as "Blonde Bombshell", because the studio was worried that people would think it was a war movie!), the 1933 Victor Fleming movie-making family relationship romantic screwball comedy (about a movie actress who has an awful family who all sponge on her, and her complicated love life) starring Jean Harlow, Lee Tracy, Frank Morgan, Franchot Tone, Pat O'Brien, Una Merkel, C. Aubrey Smith, Clark Gable, Ivan Lebedeff, and Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!). It is said that this movie was based on the life of Clara Bow!

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three lobby cards from this movie in all our years of auctioning! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair to good. The card has darkened and there are small brown dot stains scattered down the center, with a few in the rest of the card. There are some tiny bits of surface paper loss in the blank borders and a tiny pinhole in each top corner. This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the stains and darkening can be removed through chemical means, after which the card will look fantastic (although I think most collectors could happily display this great card on their wall just as it is).
