Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had a 1/2" x 2 1/2" area of paper loss in the middle, with smaller paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds. It had paper loss scattered in the left of the top border, including in the right of the girl's face. It had small tears and small paper loss on parts of the rest of the borders, with paper loss in the bottom center, in the "VE" of "TRAVESTY". It had some tears and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's significant defects, the restorer did a pretty good job, but if I owned this poster, I would have it re-backed and have more modern restoration performed, although it could be displayed as it is.
