Because he once trusted a dame!"; "'Once I trusted a dame... Now I Walk Alone!'"; "He's rough... tough... ruthless!"; "Based upon an original play 'Beggars are Coming to Town' by Theodore Reeves"; about a criminal who is released from jail after many years, and he had made a deal with his partner that he would take the rap for the crime they both committed, as long as they split everything 50/50 after he is released, but then his partner reneges on the deal) starring Burt Lancaster, Lizabeth Scott, Wendell Corey, Kirk Douglas (in his fourth credited movie role!), Kristine Miller, George Rigaud, Marc Lawrence, Mike Mazurki, and Mickey Knox. Note that the plot of this movie borrows heavily from "Angels with Dirty Faces" and "The Roaring Twenties" and other crime classics of the 1930s and early 1940s. Also note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good to very good. Someone lightly folded the poster in half two extra times, creating partial additional creases throughout. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded, but it has little effect on the front, and otherwise, the poster is in nice condition.
