The poster had tears just above the middle crossfold with tiny paper loss at each crossfold. There were creases and tiny tears on parts of the vertical foldline with a lesser amount of wear on the horizontal folds. There were pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
