An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) War of the Satellites, the 1958 Roger Corman outer space science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("LIFE Magazine Says - 'The Ultimate In Scientific Monsters'"; "From a Story by Irving Block & Jack Rabin") starring Dick Miller, Susan Cabot, Richard Devon, Michael Fox, and Roger Corman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had an extra horizontal fold just above the regular top horizontal fold, with fine surface paper loss on parts of most folds. It had a semi-circular tear in the center of the "o" of "of" in the title and some tiny surface paper loss in the "ITE" of "SATELLITES" in the title. It had some small tears around the edges, with pinholes and paper loss in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
