Alles Fur Das Wohl Des Volkes und den Frieden (literally translates to "All for the Good of the People and Peace"), the 1982 East German poster featuring Karl-Heinz Beck art and celebrating the FDGB. The Free German Trade Union Federation (Freier Deutsche Gewerkschaftsbund or FDGB) was an East German organization that existed between 1946 and 1990. It was part of the National Front and had representatives in the Volkskammer. The FDGB was the umbrella organization for about fifteen individual trade unions and was a member of the World Federation of Trade Unions.
