Note that in 2003, this movie was remade with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan in the lead roles, and it was the rare case of a remake that was the equal to the movie it remade, and it also helped continue Lohan's rise to stardom after her role in a different remake, "The Parent Trap"!
