That Certain Woman, the 1937 Edmund Goulding rich man/poor girl romantic melodrama ("She gave the man she loved to the woman she hated"; about a legal secretary who marries the son of one of her firm's biggest clients, and the father has the marriage annulled, not knowing that the young woman is pregnant) starring Bette Davis ("America's Greatest Actress in the Greatest Role of Her Career!"), Henry Fonda, Ian Hunter, Anita Louise, Donald Crisp, Hugh O'Connell, and Ben Welden

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three lobby cards from this movie, and two of those were "other company" cards, while only one was a First National studio release card, like this one (but that one was only in "fair to good" condition)! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good to fine. The card has NOT darkened virtually at all, as most Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period have. This almost surely guarantees that it came from the Royal Theatre collection, just about the only place one ever found linen lobby cards that have not darkened somewhat. It had tiny pinholes in the borders and someone performed restoration to those border areas and also slight restoration to a mark in Fonda's jacket. Otherwise, the card is in exceptional condition!
