An Original Vintage Folded Style B Half-Sheet Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) The Two Mrs. Carrolls, the 1947 Peter Godfrey romantic love triangle murder crime film noir ("Thrill after thrill after thrill!!"; "From the Stage Play by Martin Vale"; about a mentally unbalanced painter who, after painting his first wife as the Angel of Death kills her; he then tries to continue the cycle with his new wife!) starring Humphrey Bogart, Barbara Stanwyck (in the title role as Sally Morton Carroll), Alexis Smith, Nigel Bruce, Isobel Elsom, Patrick O'Moore, and Ann Carter NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. The poster has dot staining scattered in various areas due to exposure to moisture (see our image). It has separation and paper loss in the right edge of the center horizontal fold and a vertical tear to the left of Smith's face. There are a few other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image. It is otherwise mostly "all there" and certainly the poster could be restored and paperbacked and it would look great, but please bear in mind its defects and cost of restoration before placing a bid.
