An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Night of Terror, the 1933 Benjamin Stoloff spooky house murder mystery thriller ("Horror in a house of mystery"; the old story of a group of relatives called to a spooky old house where the will of a rich man is read, and they must spend the night there, and one by one they are killed off!; it has a really wacky ending where the killer is revealed at the end, and he turns to the audience and he threatens Them with death if they reveal the ending to people who have not yet seen the movie!) starring Bela Lugosi (billed as "Bela 'Dracula' Lugosi"), Sally Blane, Wallace Ford, Tully Marshall, George Meeker, and Gertrude Michaels. Note that based on the advertising and billing of this movie, you would surely think that Bela Lugosi was not only the star of the movie, but was certainly the crazed killer. But actually, he played a pretty minor role as the creepy Hindu servant! Obviously, Columbia simply hired him for his star power, and shamelessly deceived moviegoers with incredibly false advertising. Also, note that this title was reused in 1942 when the 1937 movie "Love From a Stranger" was re-released under this title, but the two movies have nothing in common.

Important Added Info: Note that the movie is called "He Lived to Kill" on the back of this still, which was the working title for this movie!
