(Learn More) the 1961 double-bill release ("The Most Wondrous Wonders Ever to Excite and Delight the Screen!") of Vynalez Zkazy (released in the U.S. as "The Fabulous World of Jules Verne"), the 1961 Karel Zeman Czechoslovakian science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("The most fabulous adventures on, over or under the Earth!"; "The thousand and one wonders of the world to come!"; "The first motion picture produced in the magic-image miracle of Mystimation") starring Lou Tock, Ernie Navara, and Milo Hall AND Rivalen der Manege (released in the U.S. in 1961 as "Bimbo the Great"), the 1958 Harald Philipp German circus elephant crime thriller ("Thrills and spills blow the top off the big top!"; "The most wondrous wonders ever to excite and delight the screen!"; "Circuscope brings you the most spectacular thrills and spills ever to blow the top off the big top!") starring Claus Holm, Germaine Damar, Elma Karlowa, and Marina Orschel Important Added Info: Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald which is pictured next to the pressbook below. Also note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Almost every Academy Award winning movie would have a special "Academy Award winner" supplement. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Most of these items absolutely can only be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. Some of them might SEEM like they could be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet, but they can't. The reason these items are in this auction is specifically because they CAN'T be rolled (because rolling any of them would damage them, even if they somehow can be rolled). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item when ready for shipping), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. Condition: good, WITH CUTS. This very large pressbook (which measures 16" x 22") has one cut on page seven and it was folded once in each direction, and there are creases and scuffs on those folds.
