Date Sold 9/1/2024Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 7 1920s French promo cards (each with great art by Charles Naillod) from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (better known as MGM), the media company, involved primarily in the production and distribution of films and television programs. MGM was founded in 1924 when Marcus Loew bought Metro Pictures, Goldwyn Pictures Corporation, and Louis B. Mayer Pictures. We don't know what these were created for and how they were distributed, and we know it is not a complete set of these, because we have seen a few others with other stars. If anyone knows more about these, please e-mail us and we will post it here. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of the front and back of all of them.
