Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More)

The Unknown Guest, the 1943 Kurt Neumann fantasy crime mystery thriller (about a spooky hunting lodge, where the two men who own it disappear, and a strange man turns up who takes their place) starring Victor Jory, Pamela Blake, Veda Ann Borg, Paul Fix, Nora Cecil, and Frank Faylen. Note that there is a real oddity about this movie. It was made by Monogram Pictures in 1943, and the movie paper we have auctioned from that first release has a 1943 NSS number on it, EXCEPT for the one-sheets, which have no NSS at all. Normally, we would think those were re-releases, but there was a 1949 re-release of this movie, and we have auctioned a one-sheet that DOES have a 1949 NSS number on it, so that makes us think that the NSS number was simply accidentally "left off" of the 1943 one-sheets. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. There are minor tape stains and smudges in the blank borders. There is a 2" tear and a 1" tear in the upper left blank border and a 1/2" tear in the center of the bottom blank border (all held together from the back with tape).
