An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Tonight We Raid Calais, the 1943 John Brahm World War II (WWII) France British RAF airplane aviation bomber military action melodrama (about a British officer who is assigned to blow up a German factory in France; he is smuggled in and lives with a farmer and his daughter, posing as her brother, but the daughter is afraid of Nazi reprisals, and she turns him in!) starring Annabella, John Sutton, Lee J. Cobb, Beulah Bondi, and Blanche Yurka. Note that Lee J. Cobb had been in the Group Theater with John Garfield and others in the mid 1930s, and then he went to Hollywood, where he found much success playing older roles (both because of his looks and because of makeup). In this movie, he played Annabella's father, even though he was 32 and she was 36! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
