Abbott passed away in 1974 at the age of 78, and Costello passed away in 1959 at the age of 52. Important Added Info: Note that this news photo, which measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm], shows Abbott and Costello arriving in court to testify that a man named Mike Potson, who is pictured behind them, had cheated them out of $85,000 gambling at gin rummy!
