The Big Broadcast of 1936, the 1935 Norman Taurog romantic science fiction (sci-fi) all-star musical ("A musical meteor of songs, comedy and romance!") starring Jack Oakie, George Burns & Gracie Allen, Lyda Roberti, Wendy Barrie, Henry Wadsworth, "and Specialties by the following:" Bing Crosby, Amos 'n Andy, Ethel Merman, Ray Nobel and His Band, Mary Boland, Charlie Ruggles, and Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!

Condition: fair to good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is extremely fragile. There was much separation at the spine and someone put long pieces of clear tape over those areas. The front cover was separated at the horizontal fold, with many tiny tears, and it was repaired with clear tape. There are many tiny areas of paper loss and tiny tears around the edges, as well as stains, smudges, and scuffs scattered on the covers.
