One poster (the poster auctioned here) was a regular teaser poster, with a black background and grey text and borders. The other looks exactly the same, except the "W" in "Star Wars" has points at the bottom, which is only seen in very early promotional material, and the poster was printed on a foil coated paper with the black printed over the foil! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had many tiny creases and scuffs along most of the folds and in all the border areas. There were some creases and scuffs scattered in the other black background areas and in the letters. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's many defects, the restorer did a pretty nice job of making it presentable, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
