An Original Vintage Unfolded Polish Stage Play Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 38 1/4" [67 x 97 cm]) (Learn More) Turandot czyli kongres wybielaczy, the 1987 Polish stage play production (of Bertolt Brecht's play) that was held at the General Theatre in Warsaw, Poland. This poster features great artwork by Wiktor Sadowski! Bertolt Brecht was a German theatre practitioner, playwright, and poet from the 1920s to 1956. He was the main proponent of the genre named epic theater. During the Nazi period and World War II he lived in exile, first in Scandinavia and then in the United States. Returning to East Berlin after the war, he established the theatre company Berliner Ensemble with his wife and long-time collaborator, actress Helene Weigel. Some of his works include: The Threepenny Opera, Life of Galileo, and Mother Courage and Her Children Artist: Wiktor Sadowski Condition: good to very good. There is some creasing and scuffing around the edges of the poster that has been repaired with black marker from the front. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
