An Original 1967 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Folded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Au Hasard Balthazar (released in the U.S. as "Balthazar"), the 1966 Robert Bresson French/Swedish surreal tragedy melodrama (showing the parallels between a donkey and a French girl, who both have a great childhood, but then grow up to have a very sad adulthood, although things improve later in life) starring Anne Wiazemsky, Francois Lafarge, Philippe Asselin, Nathalie Joyaut, and Walter Green Artist: Jacek Neugebauer Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has several creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges and many of the tears are backed with conservation tape. After proper restoration the very rare poster will display well (most of the defects are in blank paper), but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
