An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 4" x 7" [10 x 18 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) American Madness, the 1932 Frank Capra Depression-era run-on-the-bank financial crime melodrama ("The Great American Picture of Today!"; "Story and Dialogue by Robert Riskin") starring Walter Huston, Pat O'Brien, Sterling Holloway, Kay Johnson, Constance Cummings, and Gavin Gordon. There are those (myself included) who consider this a better Capra movie than "It's a Wonderful Life" (which reprises a significant part of the plot of this movie, involving a "run" on the bank sequence, although the one in this movie is far more realistically portrayed) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we were recently consigned an excellent collection of heralds! We auctioned the first 30 of these in our April Major Auction, and all but four of those sold for between $2,012 and $110!
