The poster had a blank area where the title and actors of the specific film could be added. The Three Mesquiteers were a cowboy trio that appeared in a series of 51 Western movies by Republic studio from 1936 to 1943. The group changed many actors over the years, some of whom include: Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, Rufe Davis, Robert Livingston, Raymond Hatton, Duncan Renaldo, Bob Steele, Max Terhune, Tom Tyler, and even John Wayne! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: poor. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss on the foldlines, including in the top center, in the man's face. It also had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The person who restored the poster was not up to the job, and the restoration is quite noticeable, especially in the man's face at top center. Learn More about condition grades
