An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Moonlight and Honeysuckle, the 1921 Joseph Henabery silent politics family relationship romantic comedy ("From the play by George Scarborough"; about a U.S. senator who is a widower with a grown daughter, and a pretty widow refuses to marry him until his daughter gets married, so that she will be the only woman in his life!) starring Mary Miles Minter, Monte Blue, Willard Louis, Grace Goodall, and Guy Oliver. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards (we auctioned one of those two cards twice) from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this one-sheet! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of surface paper loss on parts of some folds, with small paper loss in the lower right blank border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
