An Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Music Publicity Still (Learn More) Cab Calloway was a famous black African American jazz musician, bandleader who appeared in some movies from 1930s to the 1990s (and his music was used in several Fleischer Bros. cartoons), including: Minnie the Moocher, Cabin in the Sky, The Blues Brothers, and The Cincinnati Kid. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Cab Calloway! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: very good.
