The Silver Horde, the 1930 George Archainbaud Alaska romantic love triangle melodrama ("One woman... in a land of men"; "Rex Beach's mighty romance of the great Alaskan salmon run"; based on the Rex Beach novel) starring Evelyn Brent, Louis Wolheim, Jean Arthur, Raymond Hatton, Blanche Sweet, Joel McCrea, and Gavin Gordon. Note that this movie is memorable for being one of Jean Arthur's earliest major roles, and for being the first credited role for Joel McCrea (but because both were very "late bloomers", McCrea was 25 at the time, and Jean Arthur was 30!)
