An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Yield to the Night (released in the U.S as "Blonde Sinner"), the 1956 J. Lee Thompson English bad girl murder crime melodrama ("Here she is!"; "That eye-filling gasp-provoking blonde bombshell!"; "The man-by-man story of a lost soul!"; "The Blonde Bombshell who has the whole world popping its eyes!"; "Would You hang this girl?"; "Would You hang Mary Hilton?"; "The man-by-man story of a lost soul!"; "The mmmm mmmm girl who sizzled the headlines and scorched the magazines!"; "Based on the book by Joan Henry"; based on a true life case of a woman who had a series of abusive relationships and then thought she found a Prince Charming, but when she discovered he was cheating on her, she snapped and killed him, and that was changed to the lover's girlfriend in the movie, and it is told in flashbacks, from her cell on death row, discussing the events that led her there) starring Diana Dors ("in her first starring role"; "Exposing dramatic talents as outstanding as her beauty!"), Yvonne Mitchell, Michael Craig, Geoffrey Keen, and Athene Seyler. Note that just about everyone agrees that this was Diana Dors' best movie, and that it has the best posters of her! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has light, somewhat uniform scuffing throughout the image area and there is a small circular area in the bottom of Dors' green dress that has some glue or other staining, and that has an orange bleach effect underneath it (see our image). It has a small blank border tear at upper right and a larger complete tear of the upper right corner, and both tears are repaired with tape from the back. There is small piece of paper stuck to the "e" of "Sinner" of the title, with some slight discoloration and there is a single, yellowed piece of tape on back at lower center (not put there for any restoration purpose). The insert is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after paperbacking with some proper restoration it will display well. Learn More about condition grades
