Your Vigilance is the Price of Your Freedom, the 1952 U.S. poster ("Alert America") produced by the Federal Civil Defense Administration, encouraging citizens to join the Civil Defense, and featuring the logo of the CD. The United States Civil Defense was an organized non-military effort to prepare Americans for military attack. Over the last few decades, the term and practice of civil defense have fallen into disuse and have been replaced by emergency management and homeland security.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some light edge wear, but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition!
