In a murder-mystery that packs as big a punch as the NEW Dick Powell!"; "Haunted by a lovely face... hunted for another's crime!"; "Two-Fisted, hardboiled terrific!"; adapted from the novel 'Farewell, My Lovely' by Raymond Chandler) starring Dick Powell (as Philip Marlowe), Claire Trevor (as Velma Valento), Anne Shirley (as Ann Grayle), Otto Kruger, Mike Mazurki (as Moose Malloy), Miles Mander, Douglas Walton, Don Douglas, Ernie Adams, and Dewey Robinson. The movie was intended to be released as "Farewell, My Lovely", the name of the source novel, but it was changed at the last minute. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned four examples of this title card in all our years of auctioning, and only one in the last 6 years! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is a 1 1/2" tear in the bottom border and a 1/2" tear in the middle of the right border, and both were repaired with tape from the back (the tear in the bottom border had tiny surface paper loss and there is some paint touch up in that area). There are pieces of tape and tape stains on the back of other parts of the borders, but they have no effect on the front.
