Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had an oval area of paper loss starting in the bottom of Garfield's eye and running across to his nose. There was also tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with pinholes in the corners and darkening around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
