Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this first release one-sheet, and the last one was 5 years ago! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had separation on parts of the folds and someone had put tape on the back of those areas. There were also a few tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. There were pinholes and tape stains in the borders and paper loss near the center of the left blank border and also in the bottom right blank corner. The poster had a number stamp on the back of the center that bled through to the front in the top right of the "U" of "GHOUL". Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster, removing the tape from the back before backing it, but they did not then do restoration to the front. The main place it is noticeable is in the "U" of "GHOUL" described above, and in the center of the left blank border and in the bottom right blank corner. The poster can certainly be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or one might choose to have slight additional restoration performed. Either way, the poster will display well on the new owner's wall.
