An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 24 3/4"" x 36") (Learn More) Breakfast at Tiffany's, the classic 1961 Blake Edwards New York City romantic love triangle party girl comedy ("Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly... The most hilarious heroine who ever rumpled the pages of a best-selling novel!"; "Audrey Hepburn plays that daring, darling Holly Golightly to a new high in entertainment delight!"; "Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly sparkles her way through everything you've ever wanted to do!"; "Audrey Hepburn as that delightful darling, Holly Golightly, in Breakfast at Tiffany's"; "Every glamorous sensation of the best-seller is on the screen!"; "Audrey Hepburn plays Holly Golightly, the craziest heroine who ever crept between the pages of a best-selling novel!"; "Audrey Hepburn is funny ...sad ...extraordinary ...glamorous as Holly Golightly!"; "Based on a novel by Truman Capote"; "Screenplay by George Axelrod"; with music by Henry Mancini) starring Audrey Hepburn (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role "as that delightful darling, Holly Golightly"), George Peppard (as Paul Varjak), Patricia Neal (as 2E Failenson), Buddy Ebsen (as Doc Golightly), Martin Balsam, Mickey Rooney (in yellowface as Mr. Yunioshi), Jose Luis de Vilallonga, John McGiver, and Orangey (as Cat) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Australian 1-sheet has been trimmed and now measures 24 3/4" x 36". Condition: fair to good. All of the blank borders were neatly trimmed off (there is slight paper loss in the far right of the top border, and some pinholes in the corners). Someone wrote the title in blue marker on the back of the lower part of the poster, and it bleeds through in the word "TIFFANY'S" in the title. There is a light brown water stain at the bottom crossfold. There is a large blank semi-circular area in the lower right, which appears to have been done so that a theater could add its own rating to that area, and there is a large capital "A" written in that area in marker (perhaps some theaters considered this movie to be "adult", and others did not, and I guess they got to choose). Certainly, the poster has clear defects as noted above, but it is also very true that they are the sort that respond well to expert restoration! A talented restorer can replace the missing blank borders, and repair the other defects described above, and after proper restoration, the poster will look fantastic, and it will mostly only require paint restoration in the word "TIFFANY'S" in the title area!
