Jan Rajlich 1920 & Jan Raglich 1950, the 1992 Czechoslovakian poster promoting an art exhibition of the works of Jan Rajlich which was held from the 15th to the 30th, and featuring art of a playing card.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Jan Rajlich (and one other but we cannot make out the signature)! If anyone knows more about the other signature, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that silkscreen (also known as screen printing) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a poster. Only one color is printed at a time, so several screens must be used to produce a multicolored design, and it is a laborious technique because it is traditionally all done by hand. Because of the rich thickness of the layer of color on the paper and the resulting depth and brilliance achieved through silkscreen printing, this technique was preferred by many artists throughout many cultures and periods.
