William Wyler's Roman Holiday, the 1953 William Wyler (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Rome Italy romantic royal-princess-falls-in-love-with-commoner comedy ("Story by Ian McLellan Hunter"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Eddie Albert (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Hartley Power, Harcourt Williams, Paolo Carlini, and Margaret Rawlings

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There is paper loss in the blank border at lower right that has been repaired with paper and tape from the back. There are two approximately 1/2" tears in Peck's image at upper center and there are some pairs of staple holes and a few fine scratches scattered throughout the poster. There is minor separation in the left end of the top horizontal fold that has been repaired with tape from the back. There are a few extra horizontal folds scattered throughout the poster from it being oddly folded at one time. Fortunately, other than the two small tears mentioned above in Peck's image, the poster's defects are either pretty minor or confined to background and border areas. After restoration the poster will surely display quite nicely with little paint restoration needed (although I can imagine many collectors would be happy to display it as is!).
