eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 6c764 TWO-GUN MAN 4 LCs '26 cowboy Fred Thomson & pretty Olive Hasbrouck, Silver King in border! Date Sold 4/7/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 4 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Two-Gun Man, the 1926 David Kirkland silent cowboy western melodrama ("Story by Stewart Edward White"; with a screenplay by Frances Marion, Thomson's wife!) starring Fred Thomson, Silver King (billed as "and his wonderful horse"), Spottiswoode Aitken, Sheldon Lewis, Frank Hagney, Ivor McFadden, and Olive Hasbrouck. Note that star Fred Thomson was a major silent cowboy star (along with Tom Mix), but he is forgotten today, because he tragically died of tetanus just when sound movies started. Surely there should be a film biography of his life (perhaps Johnny Depp could play the lead role!). Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The card pictured at lower left has creases, pinholes, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths around the edges. A few of the tears or other defects as described above are repaired with tape from the back. The card pictured at lower right has some area of paper loss at right.
