An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Francis X. Bushamn was an actor from the 1910s to the 1960s. He was a major silent star, surely best remembered for his role as Messala in the 1925 version of "Ben-Hur". He continued acting for many years! Some of his movies include: The Return of Richard Neal (in the title role), Thoroughbreds Don't Cry, Sabrina, and The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini. Note that Bushman was the original "King of the Movies" before that label was attached to Clark Gable! Bushman passed away in 1966 at the age of 83.
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Francis X. Bushman! He wrote a long inscription to Harry Wilkinson, whose name is well known to any old time still collector, because he maintained "Stepping Stones", a "Hollywood Museum of Memories" in Marblehead, Massachusetts, and he stamped the back of all his stills, and they have circulated throughout the hobby! Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from Piece of the Past, Inc. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/2" [20 x 24 cm]. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: good.
