A Lot of 12 Original Vintage Magazines (each measures 8 1/2" x 11") (Learn More)

a lot of 12 magazines, containing the following issues: January, 1949; February, 1949; March, 1949; April, 1949; May, 1949; June, 1949; July, 1949; August, 1949; September, 1949; October, 1949; November, 1949; December, 1949, of Movie Stars Parade, one of the many movie magazines sold to the public. Each issue features a great full color cover of a leading star of the day, plus lots of interior publicity stories about current stars and movies with many color and black and white images throughout. Also, in every issue are many wonderful vintage ads, some in color and some in black and white, and sometimes the ads can be just as much fun as the original stories and pictures. Of course, some of the ads are from movies that were about to open, and in the early days of eBay, people would remove those full-page ads and auction them by themselves, and they would often sell for $10, $20, or more, just for a single movie ad removed from a magazine just like this! Note that in September of 1947, due to the increasing popularity of radio, the magazine added "Plus Radio Parade" to their cover, and they began covering radio stars as well!
Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of each magazine. These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided.

Condition: good to very good. Some of the magazines are in "very good" condition, some are in "good to very good", and a few are just in "good" condition.
