An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) A Connecticut Yankee by Mark Twain, the 1931 David Butler fantasy time travel comedy spoof ("By Mark Twain"; about a small town man who meets an inventor who thinks he can contact King Arthur by radio; after the typical "bump on the head", Rogers wakes up in the real life Camelot, and has many adventures before returning to the present day; as in "The Wizard of Oz", the Camelot characters and the present day characters are played by the same actors) starring Will Rogers, Maureen O'Sullivan (in her fifth movie, and she is second billed!), Myrna Loy, Frank Albertson, William Farnum (as King Arthur/Inventor), and Brandon Hurst (as Merlin/Doctor) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. The card has very slightly darkened around the edges but is otherwise in really excellent condition.
