An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Keeper of the Bees, the 1935 Christy Cabanne post-World War I (WWI) military veteran romantic melodrama ("Gene Stratton-Porter's famous novel"; about a World War I veteran with what is now called PTSD, and he finds a happy little village run by a man called "The Bee Keeper", and everybody in the town is so cheerful that he is brought out of his deep depression) starring Neil Hamilton, Betty Furness, Emma Dunn, Edith Fellowes and Hobart Bosworth. Note that Betty Furness did not have a giant movie career, but she went on to a TV quiz show career (and as a consumer affairs expert), and star Neil Hamilton gained fame much later as Commissioner Gordon on TV's "Batman". Finally, Edith Fellowes was a juvenile actress of the 1930s who never had major roles, but who added much in supporting roles in many movies, including in this one! The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the foldlines. There were pinholes in each corner and in the center of each border.
